Le vendite hardware sul territorio giapponese tra il 16 ed il 22 Gennaio riconfermano Nintendo 3DS padrone indiscusso ma fanno registrare il quarto posto di PS Vita, che recupera una posizione su Nintendo Wii.

Parlando di videogiochi Mario Kart 7 conferma la sua prima posizione, davanti a Rhythm Thief e Monster Hunter 3G.
